In a stunning twist, Eberlein Drive emerged victorious, clinching the Lexington Regional crown of The Basketball Tournament (TBT) 2025, dashing La Familia’s title hopes in the process.

Fueled by gritty play from former Kentucky Wildcat DeAndre Liggins and the scoring punch of Isaiah Briscoe, La Familia mounted a furious third-quarter rally. The building erupted as a 16-point deficit vanished in minutes. Briscoe’s back-to-back threes, combined with highlight-worthy defense from Liggins and Marcus Lee’s interior dominance, gave La Familia a brief fourth-quarter lead.

Just when the narrative appeared set for a miraculous comeback, Eberlein Drive regained their composure. With the Elam Ending looming, they leaned on their experience and court awareness. Jon Elmore’s clutch corner three, followed by a tough floater from Pargo, pushed Eberlein to the brink of victory.

La Familia, despite their best efforts, couldn’t close. A final missed jumper gave Eberlein the rebound and the win, sealing the game at 81-77 and sending them to the next stage of the tournament.
