Kentucky’s 2025-2026 men’s basketball schedule is beginning to take shape, and it’s already shaping up to be an exciting one. Based on information available as of early August 2025, here’s a look at what the Wildcats have in store for the upcoming season.
Non-Conference Schedule
- Exhibition Games: The Wildcats will have a high-profile exhibition game against Purdue at home on October 24. They will also play another exhibition game against Georgetown at Rupp Arena on October 30.
- Champions Classic: Kentucky is set to face Michigan State on November 18 in the Champions Classic, which will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York.
- ACC/SEC Challenge: The annual rivalry with Louisville will take place on November 11 at the KFC Yum! Center. Additionally, Kentucky will host North Carolina on December 2 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
- Other Notable Matchups:A neutral site game against Gonzaga will be held in Nashville on December.The long-awaited resumption of the series with Indiana will happen on December 13 at Rupp Arena.
- The CBS Sports Classic will feature Kentucky against St. John’s on December 20 in Atlanta.
SEC Conference Schedule
- The SEC has released the home and away designations for the 2025-2026 conference schedule, which will feature 18 games. The Wildcats will play Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt in a home-and-home series.
- Home SEC Opponents: Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
- Road SEC Opponents: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
The full schedule with dates and times for all SEC matchups will be announced at a later date. The conference season is expected to run from January 3 to March 7, 2026.
