The Egyptian is loved by Manchester United fans and took time to share a memorable moment with a Liverpool fan before the game.
Salah and the boy were lucky enough to act as mascots at Liverpool’s recent UEFA Europa League home game and discussed some of their past heroes at Anfield.
Salah emerged when asked who his favorite Liverpool player is, while legendary captain Gerrard said he made a good choice during a tunnel chat.
The Englishman led the club to Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup success, making 710 appearances for the North West before moving to MLS in the final year of his career.

Gerrard retired seven years ago and, having previously coached Aston Villa and Rangers, is now starting his managerial career in Saudi Arabia.
However, the Gers local boy still seems to be highly regarded by Liverpool’s young fans and Salah has found this out first hand.The released video shows Salah realizing he’s not his favorite player and replying:
“But I’ve never seen Gerrard play.” The two laughed together. There is another attraction. The short story ends with Salah patting a boy on the head and smiling as he walks out onto the pitch.
