Roy Keane was surprised by Gary Neville’s Liverpool v Arsenal prediction.

Roy Keane joked that Gary Neville has “more Christmas dinner ready” after predicting Saturday’s match between Liverpool and Arsenal. The Gunners travel to Anfield a point clear of Jurgen Klopp’s side at the Premier League summit, with the title contenders vying for top spot at Christmas.

Ahead of the match, Gary Neville and his colleagues made their predictions on the Stick to Football podcast. Liverpool legend Carragher predicted: “I don’t think Liverpool will lose at Anfield.” “I think it’s 1-1.”

Neville disagreed with Carragher and tipped Arsenal to beat Liverpool, with former United team-mate Keane agreeing. “I don’t think Liverpool will win. I think Arsenal will win. But Liverpool were angry,” said Neville. Are you really saying that Liverpool haven’t scored in two consecutive home games? said Keane’s surprised reaction.

“Someone had a big Christmas dinner!”Arsenal legend Ian Wright is confident his former side will draw 2-2 at Anfield in April.”I think Arsenal will win. They will win for sure. What happened last season [against Liverpool] was that the wheels started to spin a bit and that means the team is going to Anfield. I predict 2-1 for Arsenal.

Neville criticized the atmosphere at Anfield during last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United and urged fans to hand in their tickets if Jurgen Klopp is not prepared to fire his side on Saturday. “We need Anfield on Saturday,” Klopp said after Liverpool beat West Ham.

Arsenal did not play this week. They are ready for this game and anyone who knows anything about them knows they will be.”So we have to be careful from the first moment at Anfield, without arguing with the opposing coach.

“There are so many football games in December that if you don’t have a shirt, give your tickets to someone else.”What I felt was not excitement. “There were a lot of good games but we were only 1-0 down.”
