Darwin Nunez only has to change one thing to become the best player at Liverpool – and in the world

Liverpool legend has said Darwin Nunes could be the best player in the world.

Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes Darwin Nunes could become “the best player in the world” if he improves his finishing ability.

Nunes has been heavily criticized during his time on Merseyside, mainly due to his lack of positional awareness and the price the Reds paid to secure his services from Benfica in June 2022.

The Uruguayan was guilty of missing numerous chances in Monday’s 4-2 win over Newcastle United and could easily have been on the scoresheet on at least two occasions.

The 24-year-old is still unable to be effective in the back three, but Hamann believes that will soon change and sees the striker becoming an elite talent in world football.

“Liverpool fans are patient with Darwin Nunes, but I think they are patient enough to give him a few more weeks or months,” the German king told Casino Bonus.“When Liverpool play, they create more chances, but if they don’t convert those chances, all the effort is wasted.

“His last goal before Burnley was against Newcastle and it was around 12 or 14 games, so at some point he has to start getting those opportunities.””If he can finish, Darwin Nunes could be the best athlete in the world.” Haman continued. “He’s quick, physical and has everything except finishing.

If you don’t end, you will have a problem, you have a problem, but sometimes you don’t learn, but it takes more time!

Currently, he will make a lot of opportunities and miss it easily! “NUNEZ scored eight goals in Liverpool’s 28 performances and eight assistants registered.

You can’t find the back of the current line, but Jürgen Klopp quickly protected his absence. He is not satisfied with the score, but I saw it on the couch. “Football is a very simple game of putting the ball in the back of the goal and guys have to work a lot harder.

Darwin is the man behind [Sven] Botman and [Fabian […] Because Schar stayed together and made room for everything else. For example, when Cody [Gakpo] plays there, it’s completely different. I needed him there.

“As long as Darwin gets every moment today, everything is good. I don’t know how many goals he has scored this season, but there are a lot of goals and there is no doubt that Darwin will score. All is well.

No one needs to worry about Darwin. He was great and made a really good game. “He started the game in the right direction with a great and unselfish pass to Mo Salah and he managed to score.”
