TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Alabama Crimson Tide has dropped the gauntlet — and the SEC better be ready.
On Wednesday, Alabama Women’s Basketball officially released its 2025–26 Southeastern Conference schedule, igniting anticipation for one of the most thrilling seasons in program history. The action begins January 1st with an explosive road battle against the perennial powerhouse South Carolina, immediately throwing the Tide into the fire and setting a high-octane tone for the new year.
The opening stretch will test Alabama’s toughness, with early road trips sharpening the team before their grand return to Coleman Coliseum, where they’ll face Arkansas and Kentucky in back-to-back home games. Tide fans will also circle key home clashes with Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Auburn — the latter a fiery rivalry that will light up Tuscaloosa with just one high-stakes showdown this season.
In total, the Crimson Tide will host eight SEC opponents inside Coleman Coliseum, where Alabama has been historically strong and where the energy is expected to be unmatched.
The 2025–26 schedule marks a new era of elite competition, featuring new-look matchups thanks to SEC expansion. The Tide will face Texas and Oklahoma on the road in first-time SEC meetings, raising the level of national exposure and providing key opportunities to build a strong postseason résumé.
This year’s campaign follows a 2024–25 season in which Alabama finished 24–9 overall and 10–6 in the SEC under the leadership of veteran head coach Kristy Curry. After a strong NCAA Tournament appearance, expectations are sky-high as the Tide look to climb even further up the conference ladder.
Curry emphasized that the schedule is built for growth, competition, and postseason preparation:
> “We’re excited about the battles ahead. This schedule gives us the chance to prove ourselves every night — and our fans will be a huge part of that journey.
With a perfect mix of home-court energy and road challenges, the Tide is set to charge into the SEC gauntlet ready to compete, ready to defend, and ready to rise.
The Crimson Storm is coming. The road to March starts now — and every game counts. ROLL TIDE!
