Indiana will stay in the field for now, but things could get messy in a hurry ifwe get a few bid stealers over the next few days.
The Hoosiers (19-13) bowed out of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday with a 72-59 loss to Oregon in which they shot poorly (36.2% from the field, 25% on 3-pointers, 50% on free throws).
Already on the March Madness bubble, IU has to watch scoreboards nationwide the next few days as it wonders if it will hear its name Sunday night. Xavier, Villanova, North Carolina, SMU, VCU, Liberty, San Diego State, Dayton and Cincinnati are among the other teams hoping to play their way into the NCAAs.
