BREAKING: NBA Legend Drops Bombshell Recruiting News! Josh Dix to Join Kentucky Wildcats…

The Kentucky Wildcats are going to be faced with the tough task of replacing Koby Brea, among many others playing in their last collegiate season, this offseason, and Mark Pope’s squad is going to desperately need some playmaking.

Top incoming prospect Jasper Johnson should help replace some of the talent. However, Kentucky is always on the lookout for more sharpshooting talent, and Josh Dix may be the next great sniper for the Cats.

Dix is set to transfer from Iowa, where he averaged 14.4 points and shot 42.2% from deep as a junior this past season. He has been named 247S Sports’ No. 2 overall transfer in the portal thus far, so he’s going to be a coveted player for top programs.

According to 247 Sports national recruiting analyst Travis Branham, via CatsPause.com’s Chris Fisher, the Cats are among the teams set to be involved in the recruiting of Dix, and he’s hearing “whispers” of Kentucky involvement.

Evan Turner, a Big Ten legend from his days at Ohio State, believes Dix is set to join the Cats, too, and if that comes true, it would be a huge win for Pope. The Hawkeyes did not have a good season, finishing 13th in the Big Ten, and they lost by 12 in the Big Ten Tournament, ending their season and likely Dix’s career with the Hawkeyes.

Dix, originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa, dropped 21 points on 10/17 shooting in that final game. He’s spent all three of his collegiate seasons with Iowa and really stepped his game up as a junior.

Shooting over 50.7% from the field and 42.2% from deep, Dix is an efficient scorer, and that would bode well for Kentucky. His experience with several incoming freshmen would be welcome, too.
