Connor Bradley continued his progression from academy talent to first-team star as he scored a stunning first goal for Liverpool. The 20-year-old right-back only made his professional debut on November 30 but has now looked like a seasoned pro after six games in a row.
The Northern Irishman, who registered a total of three assists, now scored in a 2-0 home win against Chelsea in the Premier League. The teenager collected Luis Diaz’s pass in the Chelsea half and headed the ball past Dorde Petrovic into the far corner.
As they celebrated, chants of “There’s only one Conor Bradley” began to ring out across Anfield. Diogo Jota opened the scoring by breaking through Chelsea’s defense and firing home with his left foot after Darwin Nunes had missed a penalty in the first half.
