The Australian point guard, who transferred to Kentucky for her final collegiate season, quickly became the engine powering the Wildcats’ resurgence. DeLeye’s 2024-25 campaign was punctuated by jaw-dropping performances, including a school-record 30 kills in a four-set match against Georgia, shattering previous marks and showcasing her offensive firepower.

 

DeLeye’s consistency has been unmatched, with over 500 kills on the season and a team-leading 4.87 kills per set. Her all-around game-marked by 1.64 digs per set and 56 aces-helped propel Kentucky to the top of the SEC standings and earned her the title of SEC Player of the Year. National recognition soon followed, as DeLeye was named one of four finalists for the AVCA National Player of the Year.
