The 6-foot-2, 175-pound floor general from New Heights (NY) will visit the University of Kentucky from August 1st through August 3rd, his father confirmed to A Sea of Blue.R
ippey, ranked as one of the top point guards in the 2026 cycle, has been on a tear this summer during the grassroots circuit, and he’s making it known why blue bloods like Kentucky are keeping close tabs.
On Wednesday night, Rippey posted a dominant performance with 22 points and 11 assists in a win over Wildcat Select. He also made the game-winning play, picking off a late steal from Kinney and pushing it ahead for the go-ahead bucket. On Thursday, Rippey put together another strong showing with 19 points, six assists, and five rebounds in a victory over Dream Vision.
Rippey’s ability to control tempo, create for teammates, and score at all three levels makes him a highly coveted floor general. The upcoming visit gives head coach Mark Pope and his staff a prime opportunity to make their pitch to the talented playmaker.
