According to a report from O Jogo analysing the transfer prospects on the table for Diomande and Inacio, the Portuguese outlet says that Inacio rejected Newcastle United.
This is because the player is waiting for one of Liverpool, Manchester United or even Real Madrid to approach Lisbon to acquire his services.
Liverpool have been particularly keen on signing the player with one source even suggesting they tabled a low opening offer to sign him worth around €30 million (£26M).
The only way the Reds will be able to sign him is if they trigger his €60 million (£52M) release clause otherwise Sporting will reject all offers.
