Eagles LB Jihaad Campbell tells the first thing he will do after signing contract

Former Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell was drafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft last Thursday. The New Jersey native will soon sign his rookie contract.

Campbell revealed his plans for after he signs his first contract with the Eagles with Darien Rencher.

“I definitely want to give back to the community. I always wanted to do that ever since I was, you know, a young kid,” Campbell said.

Campbell grew up an Eagles fan, so this is kind of a full-circle moment for the New Jersey native. It says a lot about Campbell’s character for him to be willing to give back to the Philadelphia community soon after being drafted by the organization. The act of kindness is just a part of the reason why Campbell is a special person on and off the field.
