The wait is almost over for Chelsea fans to be able to witness one of the most promising players in world football to join their first team squad.
Estevao Willian is set to make the switch from Brazil at the end of the season to Stamford Bridge, after impressing coming through the ranks at Palmeiras.
Only Lamine Yamal was ranked higher than Estevao in a list of the most promising youngsters in world football, and he has already made an impact at international level as well as for his club.
Brazil fans are even calling for more of Estevao as their nation are struggling to hit the heights they have in the past.
The winger is expected to be part of Enzo Maresca’s squad as soon as the upcoming season, with him having the opportunity to earn a starting spot alongside attackers such as Cole Palmer.

Until then, he continues to feature for Palmeiras, with them just picking up a 1-0 win over Ceara in the Copa do Brasil.
The goal was assisted by Estevao, with him delivering a sensational free-kick that was given the nod of approval by Gustavo Gomez.
The assist was from a wide free-kick, adding yet another quality for Chelsea fans to be excited about for when he joins the club. Palmer is frequently responsibly for the delivery of free-kicks in dangerous attacking areas, however he could see that repsonsibility shifted to the youngster based on his own brilliance.

Despite being Chelsea’s star man since making the move at Stamford Bridge, Palmer hasn’t found the net in Blue since January, and they have struggled on the pitch as a result.
His position has been altered since Maresca took over as manager, with some believing that is having an impact on what he can deliver on the pitch.
It has been reported Palmer is not too happy with how he is being used on the pitch, and having less freedom to do what he wants in games.
While there are no signs this could result in any drastic action for either party, it will need to be adressed in order to get the best out of the England international again.
