South Bend, IN – The No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team is back on track after a dominating 19-7 victory over the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon. The win marked a much-needed bounce-back performance for the Irish, who had dropped two straight games prior to the matchup.

*CHRIS KAVANAGH LEADS THE CHARGE*

Chris Kavanagh was the star of the show for the Fighting Irish, tallying four goals and three assists for a total of seven points. Kavanagh’s impressive performance was complemented by a balanced attack from the Irish, with five players scoring multiple goals.

“I’m proud of our guys for responding after a tough couple of games,” said Notre Dame Head Coach Kevin Corrigan. “We played a complete game today, and it was great to see our offense clicking on all cylinders.”

The Notre Dame defense was equally impressive, holding the Wolverines to just seven goals. The Irish also dominated the face-off circle, winning 22 of 29 draws.
