Flau’jae Johnson available for LSU’s Elite Eight showdown with UCLA, Kim Mulkey says
LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson, who missed the final five minutes of the Tigers’ Sweet 16 game against NC State on Friday night, is available for LSU’s Elite Eight matchup against UCLA on Sunday.
“She’s good to go. She’s ready to go,” LSU coach Kim Mulkey said on Saturday after Johnson participated in the Tigers’ walkthrough.
The junior confirmed that she began experiencing double vision following a collision with another player in the fourth quarter, which kept her from returning to the game. Mulkey credited Johnson’s continued ability to lead from the sideline through the final minutes.
