Gary Neville issues three-word jibe as he reacts to news Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool

 

It’s the news that shocked the footballing world on Friday when Liverpool announced that Jurgen Klopp will depart at the end of the season.

The German was appointed Liverpool boss in 2015 with the club heading towards nearly three decades without a league title.

 

But Jurgen Klopp made those on Merseyside believe by, not only winning the Premier League title, but winning the lot at Anfield.

As you can imagine, Liverpool fans will be gutted at his soon-to-be exit, but rival fans will love the idea that they don’t have to compete against such a great manager anymore.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville couldn’t help but jibe at the news about Jurgen Klopp by posting a three-word message on Instagram.

 

The Sky Sports pundit posted an image of himself and Jamie Carragher with the biggest smiles on their faces, with the caption ‘Klopp’s leaving do’.

Of course, the image is probably old and it’s just Gary Neville, with his Manchester United hat on, delighted at the fact that things might now just get very tough for Liverpool.

Who will replace Jurgen Klopp?

Just like Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger at their respective clubs. Good luck to the individual who will be given the keys to the Liverpool hotseat next season.

Manchester United and Arsenal have found life very tough since their legendary coaches departed and Liverpool fans will be fearing the same.

 

But who will replace Klopp? Straight off the bat, the name of Bayer Leverkusen’s high-flying coach, Xabi Alonso, was thrown into the hat – HITC Football have been told that the Spanish coach and Brighton’s Roberto de Zerbi have been mentioned as Klopp’s successor.

Given his past Liverpool connections, it’s an obvious one with Alonso. Plus, if he ends up ending Bayern Munich’s 11-year dominance at the top of the German league, then the noises to appoint the former midfielder will just grow louder.

Feyenoord’s title-winning coach Arne Slot has also reacted to Liverpool links, with the rumour mill now going into overdrive.
