As reported by the Daily Mail, the Bavarian side are interested in Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson.

There appears to be an expectation that Alphonso Davies will be leaving the Allianz Arena to join Real Madrid in the summer.

Robertson, who has been with Liverpool since 2017, has been identified as a suitable replacement.

But there is a history with Kane, who got away with a shocking challenge on the Scotland captain in 2021 even with a VAR review.

With his stoods raised, the 30-year-old dived in late on the former Hull City defender in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He was shown a yellow card despite the poorly timed challenge, with Robertson later dismissed for hacking down Emerson Royal.

But Jurgen Klopp was stunned that Kane did not receive his marching orders after describing his tackle as a “leg-breaker”.

He told a press conference: “This red card [Robertson’s] you can give but this was proof that VAR was there today because before that we thought he might not be in his office. I think we all agree that Harry Kane should have seen a red card, and he didn’t.

“I have no idea. You have to ask VAR. It’s a clear, absolutely 100% red card. If Andy Robertson’s foot is on the ground his leg is broken. Luckily for both it was in the air, but it’s still a red card. The ref saw it different.”
