Arsenal striker Kai Havertz suffered a crisis of confidence during his side’s back-to-back defeats. Mikel Arteta’s side suffered a third straight league defeat after losing 2-0 to Liverpool in their FA Cup opener on January 7. They ended 2023 with back-to-back relegations, losing 2-0 at home to West Ham United before losing 2-1 to Fulham.
It means the Gunners have missed out on top spot in the league twice earlier this year and are now five points behind leaders Liverpool (45) in fourth place. Amid the poor performances, the FA Cup final loss to Manchester United was the worst of the weekend and Havertz was guilty of wasting numerous scoring opportunities.

“They don’t see now. Who can sign up?
Its not like they did. “Havertz, I think his trust has been broken. When I watched the game against Liverpool, they were creating random chances. He had three chances and failed to control the ball three times. That was the worst thing you could have done.
Do it as a player.” It doesn’t matter if you’re nervous, if you don’t score, you don’t score,” he said.Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr and more: Tottenham star Richarlison becomes the greatest footballer of all timeThe Gunners return to Premier League action on Saturday (January 20) at home to Crystal Palace.
