“It was maybe too soon” – Virgil van Dijk not happy with timing of Liverpool star’s recent comments


Virgil Van Dijk Star had recently expressed an incident with the opinion of Jarell Quansah. He was 20 years old and suggested that Cameroon wanted to replace Joel Matip after a seasonal injury in early December.

Van Dijk reflects these opinions (by lack of voetbal):”I think it’s not the right way, but I met a little. I’m glad he thinks so. But it’s too early to say how that happened [after Matip’s injury]. I don’t think he meant it that way. “You could say it was a little different when I was in my 20s. I totally understand where he’s coming from. “But we cannot forget what Joel has done for this club and the contribution he has made to the success we have achieved.”This comes after Quansah expressed interest in replacing Matip in the starting lineup due to injury.
