Joe Cole has been ranking some of the best wingers in Premier League history.
Taking part in a TikTok challenge on TNT Sports’ page, Cole has been discussing some of the best wide players to ever grace the Premier League, from Eden Hazard to Alexis Sanchez.
The former Chelsea star struggled when it came to ranking certain players, but there was one Liverpool player he put right up there with the very best.

Cole ranked a number of incredible players from over the years, putting the likes of Gareth Bale, David Beckham and Freddie Ljungberg in the ‘B’ and ‘C’ categeories.
However, when it came time to put Mohamed Salah in one of the categories, he put the Egyptian close to the very top, claiming that the £34m winger is one of the best to ever grace English football.
“Salah has to be in that A category hasn’t he? He’s scored so many goals,” Cole said.

Whether or not Salah is better than Bale is a debate that will certainly divide football fans, but the reality is that Salah may be one of the best to ever play in the Premier League at this point.
He’s sustained an incredible level for such a long time now, and he has to be in that conversation as one of the best to ever do it at this level.
His goals to game ratio is up there with the greatest of all-time, and he now has the longevity to back it up.
Bale was electric, don’t get us wrong, but when it comes down to a Premier League legacy, Salah edges that debate without much resistance.
Salah is a world-class player, and perhaps at the end of the season he’ll have another Premier League title to add to his collection
