It all started before the Kylian Mbappé strike, but it was this moment that fired up the Anfield crowd as they began to settle in. Conor Bradley dived, took his chance and curled the ball in, sending the French world champions flying.
He hadn’t made any effort on Mbappé yet and certainly didn’t after that. Liverpool had some key players: Caoimhin Kelleher made a fine penalty save, Curtis Jones was excellent and Ryan Gravenberch cleared the cross. Bradley, however, was the best of the bunch.
