Kentucky basketball fans boo, watch Auburn mock Cats on their own court

That was an embarrassing display of basketball. Turnovers, missed shots, bad defense. All Kentucky had going today was rebounding and that was not nearly enough to keep it a close game. Watch as Auburn celebrated at Rupp Arena.If you thought things couldn’t get worse for Kentucky basketball, think again.

Not only did Auburn dismantle the Wildcats in Rupp Arena, but the Tigers mocked them on their own floor—and Kentucky fans could only watch in frustration.Late in the second half, as Auburn extended its lead to 20+ points, the visiting Tigers’ fans started a “Let’s Go Auburn” chant inside Rupp Arena. That’s right—an opposing fanbase had grown loud enough in Rupp to make their presence known.

Kentucky fans weren’t having it.

The crowd erupted in boos, drowning out the Auburn chant, refusing to let their home arena be taken over. But as soon as the final buzzer sounded, Auburn players got the last laugh—in the most disrespectful way possible.Auburn Players Mock Kentucky with Belt Celebration

After dominating the Wildcats 94-78, Auburn’s Johni Broome and his teammates took their victory lap in the worst possible way. Grabbing a belt, they took turns pretending to “whoop” an imaginary butt, taunting Kentucky in front of their own fans.

“We just whooped y’all, and we’re letting you know about it.”

And with the way Kentucky played? Hard to argue.

Kentucky fans showed more passion than the players at times, refusing to let Auburn’s chant take over. But at the end of the night, the only noise that mattered was Auburn’s celebration.

Losing is one thing. Being mocked in your own house? Inexcusable.
