Lakers Head Coach and Duke Blue Devils legend JJ Redick Sends Message to Duke Blue Devils Amid final four game – Bring it home Blue devils

As the Duke Blue Devils prepare to take on their next opponent, they received a special message from one of their most legendary alumni, JJ Redick. Redick, who played for Duke from 2002 to 2006, is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooters in college basketball history.

In a video message posted on the Duke Athletics website, Redick addressed the current team, urging them to stay focused and motivated as they navigate the challenges of the season. “I know it’s not always easy, but I want to remind you all that you’re part of something special,” Redick said.

Redick, who won numerous awards and accolades during his time at Duke, including the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award, knows a thing or two about what it takes to succeed at the highest level. He encouraged the team to draw on their collective strength and support each other through the ups and downs of the season.

“I’m proud of each and every one of you,” Redick said. “You’re representing not just yourselves, but your teammates, your coaches, and the entire Duke community. Remember to stay humble, stay hungry, and always give it your all.”

Redick’s message was met with enthusiasm from the Duke players, who are looking to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament this season. “It means a lot to hear from JJ,” said Duke guard Jeremy Roach. “He’s a legend, and his words of encouragement mean a lot to us.”

Duke coach Jon Scheyer also praised Redick’s message, saying it was a timely reminder of the values and traditions that have made Duke basketball so successful over the years. “JJ’s message was spot on,” Scheyer said. “He reminded our guys of the importance of teamwork, discipline, and hard work.”
