Liverpool expected to sign West Ham United star: Is he right for Klopp?

Sam Allardyce has suggested that West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen would be a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Allardyce said on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast: “I think it was in the same interview as Salah. I think it became popular because people were able to see it from that perspective. He remained consistent and made the England squad but suffered a setback and is now back. Not only his skills, but also his ability to score goals stands out.

Bowen has been impressive for West Ham United this season. Bowen has been in fine form at the London Stadium and has impressed in the third tier. The 26-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 22 games in various competitions. His outstanding performances earned him a place in the England squad.

The England striker has been a consistent performer for the Hammers in the Premier League, averaging 1.8 tackles, 0.8 interceptions, 2.8 tackles, 0.7 assists and 1.3 dribbles. Distributes the ball efficiently, completing 76.0% of attempts at the highest level of English football (stats according to WhoScore).Last summer, Bowen turned down an offer from Liverpool and instead signed a new contract at the London Stadium, extending his tenure until the summer of 2030. Will he be a worthy replacement for Salah’s tactics and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp? Liverpool’s attacking prowess has been key to their success in recent years, with Mohamed Salah a key figure in Jurgen Klopp’s system. But speculation surrounding Salah’s future remains United’s top priority until the end of the season. Given the Egyptian’s striking and scoring abilities, there’s a good chance he’ll fill Salah’s shoes.

However, Bowen offers the qualities to suit Klopp’s style of play and could provide a dynamic option for the Anfield club should Salah leave. His ability to find the back of the net reflects his considerable scoring ability. It’s a trait that highlights Salah’s importance to Liverpool. Moreover, Bowen’s attacking versatility could benefit from Klopp’s tactical flexibility. His ability to operate in a variety of attacking positions suits Klopp’s desire for fluidity and interplay between his forwards. Whether deployed centrally or out wide, Bowen has shown adaptability and efficiency, qualities highly valued in Klopp’s system.
