It as again been claimed that Liverpool fc still want to sign Omar Marmoush in the January transfer window, despite the reports suggesting that it will take £60 million to secure a transfer deal.

The forward has delivered 14 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, continuing from his previous season’s performance of 17 goals and six assists in 41 games and is drawing all sorts of attention from some of the biggest teams in the Premier League, including the likes of LIVERPOOL – who are always looking to add to their squad.

The Reds have one of the biggest squads in Europe – but with a number of players expected to leave in the coming windows – there will be some space for the likes of Marmoosh to come in and try to make an impact in that Arne Slots side.

According to German outlet SportBILD, Liverpool have been in touch with Marmoush’s advisors for a potential transfer and have “officially registered their interest” in the Egyptian.

 

Marmoush’s contract with Eintracht, which runs until 2027, does not include a release clause, giving the German club the upper hand in negotiations. This absence of a buyout clause suggests LIVERPOOL may have to pay as much as £60m for Marmoush’s transfer.

Eintracht Frankfurt director of football Markus Krosche has opened the door to the potential sale of Omar Marmoush – recently Speaking to German media, Krosche said: “It is true that Omar made a very clear commitment to us in the summer. He has developed well and still has a lot of potential to develop further.

 

“For us, we don’t want to lose so many key players. I have to honestly say that no Eintracht player is unsellable but we want to keep the team together. I talk about Marmoush after every game. But that’s a good thing. Omar gives our game an incredible amount.”

They’d have been having talks that we’re not aware of for sure because you can’t allow players to get so far into their contract when they’re so valuable.
