According to The Athletic, Salah has now been sent an opening offer to extend his stay beyond next summer with the feeling being that the Egyptian — who has already scored 15 goals this season and provided 12 assists — wants to stay. Liverpool is currently top of both the Premier League and the Champions League tables and Salah and Van Dijk, both 32, have been instrumental. Alexander-Arnold has spent some time on the sidelines but he too has been enjoying life under new head coach Arne Slot.
