Liverpool player’s exciting move away cancelled after ‘mistakes in paperwork’.

Liverpool has a lot of players out on loan this season, with many gaining invaluable first team experience which would be denied him if he had remained with the Reds. However, Polish goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski is one loanee whose temporary move looks over due to administrative error.

On September 1, he made a season-long loan transfer to Spartakos Kitiou in Cyprus. EL Sports Agency heralded the move on Instagram. “The exceptional Polish

However, Ojrzynski has not yet played for his new club for a reason out of his hands. To make matters worse for the 21-year-old, it looks to be down to Liverpool and the Cypriot club.

Writer Lewis Bower provided an update on the situation on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this month. “I am told that #LFC goalkeeper, Jakub Ojrzyński’s loan at Spartakos Kitiou is at risk of been cancelled due to mistakes in the paperwork between both clubs,” he wrote, adding: “He is yet to receive international clearance. While the news has not been confirmed by Liverpool, Ojrzynski later posted a picture of himself in Costa Coffee with teammates at the club on Instagram, so it’s reasonable to assume he’s no longer in Cyprus. The 21-year-old joined Liverpool back in 2019. The closest Ojrzynski has got to playing for the club at senior level occurred in February 2021, when Jürgen

But he has so far played for three clubs on loan. He spent 2021/22 with Caernarfon Town in Wales, making 33 appearances, before returning to his homeland the following season for a less productive three-game spell with Radomiak Radom.

Last season took Ojrzynski to Netherlands, where he played for Den Bosch. As it plays in the second tier of Dutch football, he did not come up against Arne Slot’s Feyenoord during his 11 appearances.

The young shot stopper has a lot of colleagues at Liverpool who are making the most of their loan moves this season. The likes of Luke Chambers, Lewis Koumas and Rhys Williams are all into double figures for appearances. Ojrzynski has been denied that opportunity so far and it appears he’ll have to look for another move in January to make it happen.
