Premier League giants Liverpool are set to go back in for an old transfer target.
The Reds are said to have reignited their seven-year-old interest in Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The Napoli star has been outstanding in Serie A for several years, but was a Reds target back in 2016.
He instead moved to Napoli, while Gini Wijnaldum moved to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Per Il Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool may finally get their man for Klopp this winter or next summer.
Zielinski is 29 and his contract will be up at the end of the season, while he has not renewed with Napoli.
