Liverpool’s advantage is greater than expected as Jurgen Klopp has created a powerful weapon

Liverpool’s strong record at Anfield is no secret. As seen in the home and away fixtures, Jurgen Klopp’s side and Aston Villa have maintained a 100% winning record against away teams in the Premier League this season.

All this was saved by a dramatic late win over Fulham. But Liverpool missed out on a club record in that game, falling one game shy of his longest home run by more than two goals. It will be Liverpool’s biggest home crowd in years as much of the Anfield Road End is open for the game against Manchester United.

The hope and hope is to boost the famous atmosphere and turn the home of the Reds into a fortress.
Maintaining a perfect record throughout the season seems impossible, but Klopp’s home advantage still risks being underestimated.

Some truly amazing things have happened at Anfield since Klopp arrived at Liverpool and encouraged fans to turn doubters into believers. Personal moments are the most memorable. It’s a moment Barcelona will never be able to top, but the big picture is just as impressive.

Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premier League for the second time until January 2021. This means they have been unbeaten for over three seasons at Anfield. Suddenly, maintaining a perfect record for another 12 games doesn’t seem so surprising.
However, this was when Liverpool’s power was at its peak. Can Klopp’s ‘2.0’ side really come close to this form? It’s already going well.

This season’s record is known, but how old it is is overlooked. He’s currently played in a very respectable 18 games, which doesn’t equate to a full season. It was Leeds who leveled the scores in October 2022. They even needed an 89th minute winner (a similar incident happened last January when Burnley needed a late penalty to secure a win shock).

Liverpool published an article on their website before the match against Leeds in the format “Photos before the unfortunate incident”. It was mentioned that a win or draw would extend Anfield’s unbeaten run to 30 games. That said, despite going through two “crisis seasons”, Liverpool have lost just once in their last 48 games at Anfield. No team in world football gains as much power when playing in front of a home crowd. In that sense, Klopp was right.

He did not underestimate the importance of the supporters when he joined this great club. He used and strengthened the almost symbiotic relationship between players and fans to create one of Liverpool’s most important weapons.
