LSU Star Aneesah Morrow Signs $15 Million Endorsement Deal, Donates $4 Million to LSU
In a groundbreaking move that cements her legacy both on and off the court, LSU Tigers women’s basketball standout Aneesah Morrow has signed a historic $15 million endorsement deal, making her one of the highest-earning college athletes in the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) era. In an even more stunning gesture, Morrow has pledged $4 million of that total as a donation to Louisiana State University to support women’s athletics and student wellness initiatives.
The announcement was made during a press conference on Friday morning at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center, where Morrow was joined by Head Coach Kim Mulkey, LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward, and a large crowd of fans, media, and teammates.
“I’ve always believed that when you’re blessed with opportunity, you should use it to uplift others,” Morrow said. “LSU has given me a platform, a family, and the best fans in the world. This donation is just my way of saying thank you and investing in the future of Tigers who come after me.”
An NIL Trailblazer
Morrow’s $15 million deal spans multiple brands in apparel, lifestyle, and health and wellness, including a major shoe partnership that is set to launch a signature “Morrow” sneaker later this year. This contract is among the largest ever signed by a collegiate athlete, male or female, and showcases the rapidly evolving landscape of college sports economics.
While specific details of the deal remain under wraps, insiders say Morrow will serve as the face of several national campaigns and participate in community outreach programs focusing on youth empowerment and women’s sports.
“She’s not just a great athlete—she’s a powerful brand, a role model, and a leader,” said her agent, Tasha Greene of Elite Athlete Management. “This deal reflects the trust companies have in her image and values.”
A Gift That Will Echo for Generations
Of the $4 million donation, $2.5 million will be earmarked for upgrading training facilities and equipment for LSU’s women’s programs, while $1 million will establish the “Morrow Scholars Fund,” a scholarship initiative aimed at supporting female student-athletes pursuing degrees in sports science, communications, and business.
“This is an unprecedented act of generosity from a student-athlete,” said Athletic Director Scott Woodward. “Aneesah has already changed LSU basketball. Today, she’s changed LSU history.”
The remaining $500,000 will fund mental health and wellness programs for all LSU athletes—an issue Morrow has been vocal about throughout her collegiate career.
Dominance On the Court
Aneesah Morrow transferred to LSU from DePaul and quickly became a centerpiece of the Tigers’ offense. This past season, she averaged 20.6 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, earning First-Team All-SEC honors and helping LSU advance deep into the NCAA Tournament.
Coach Kim Mulkey praised her star forward: “Aneesah is the total package. She plays with fire, she leads with grace, and today, she proved that her heart is as big as her talent.”
The Legacy Continues
Morrow, who has one year of eligibility remaining, has yet to announce whether she will return to LSU for her senior season or declare for the WNBA Draft. Either way, she has already left an indelible mark.
“For me, it’s about purpose,” she said. “Basketball gave me a platform. LSU gave me a home. Now it’s time to give back.”
With this deal and donation, Aneesah Morrow not only redefines what it means to be a collegiate athlete—she redefines what it means to lead.
