The holiday season is right around the corner and that’s when the supplies start to pile up. The Premier League title race currently has three clear contenders – Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City – while Aston Villa are currently outsiders despite being above City.
Many teams have been in contention for the title at the start of the season, but the likes of Tottenham have not been without problems, while Manchester United and Newcastle United have struggled for consistency so far this season.
On the other hand, the January transfer window could have a huge impact on the final table, and with that in mind, we’ve rounded up all the latest top-flight rumors.
Should Martial stay?
Anthony Martial is set to sign a new contract after coming under heavy criticism during his time at Manchester United.
Asked about the players who have not signed, Erik Ten Hag said: “Obviously this contract is on our minds and something is being discussed. If there is any news, I will pass it on.” “We have to make a final decision (on Reguilon) but Spurs will be involved in that conversation as well.
“Martial has recently been on loan and spent part of 2022 at Sevilla but is back in contention this season. Many have criticized the Frenchman’s level of performance, but he could stay at Old Trafford for a long time.

Liverpool have completed three signings ahead of the January transfer window. United overhauled their midfield in the summer transfer window but are expected to add a centre-back in January to bolster their central position following Joel Matip’s injury.
According to Football Insider, Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix, Sporting CP star Goncalo Inacio and Sao Paulo’s Lucas Beral are also interested in Liverpool, who have cash to spend.
Former Wolves star Ruben Neves has admitted money was a big factor in his move to Saudi Arabia following his move to Newcastle United in January. “Of course we have money, we can’t hide it,” he told BBC Sport.
“But when we look at the project, a lot of people think it’s just talk, but it’s not true. When they proposed the project to us, it was a very big project. I think people don’t know how the country is developing, how football is developing and how football will be in a few years.
That’s why I think it’s going to be a great race in two or three years.”Neves has confirmed he will not be joining Newcastle in January as the club still want to stay in Saudi Arabia, despite being open to contact with players from other clubs owned by the club.
