In his inaugural season as head coach, Mark Pope has propelled the Kentucky Wildcats into the NCAA Tournament, securing a commanding 76-57 victory over the Troy Trojans in the Round of 64. The Wildcats showcased resilience, overcoming early turnovers to establish a 35-27 halftime lead before dominating the second half. Standout performances included Otega Oweh’s 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, with significant contributions from Andrew Carr, Amari Williams, and freshman Collin Chandler.
