Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had a great revenge game against his former team on Monday night.
Jeudy racked up 235 receiving yards against the Denver Broncos and was a major reason why the Browns almost pulled off a comeback but came up just short in a 41-32 loss.
Even though Jeudy went off against his former team, NFL analyst and former Broncos offensive lineman Mark Schlereth still isn’t changing his opinion of him.
“I’m sorry I dozed off. How did they do? Was it a big win?” Schlereth tweeted.
Schlereth knew that the Browns didn’t win the game since he saw the final score. He wanted to poke fun at the people who were going at him after Jeudy’s big game.
Schlereth has been a critic of Jeudy going back to his days with the Broncos. He once called him a “bust” and it doesn’t appear that his stance on him will change anytime soon.
The Browns are 3-9 and are close to being eliminated from playoff contention while the Broncos are 8-5 and are closing in on a playoff berth. Assuming they don’t collapse down the stretch, they look poised to make the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
The Broncos have gotten some great play out of rookie quarterback Bo Nix while also having a stout defense.
They’ll look to get their ninth win of the year when they play the Indianapolis Colts at home this Sunday. A Broncos win would come close to being a knockout blow for the Colts since they’d fall to 6-8.
Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET
