NBA Draft 2026: ACC Players to Watch

The NBA Draft 2026 ACC storyline is already building as college basketball eyes its next wave of future stars. The Atlantic Coast Conference has long been a breeding ground for NBA talent, producing legends like Chris Paul, Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson, and Paolo Banchero. This season, the ACC is once again loaded with prospects who could shape the future of the NBA.

One of the most talked-about names is Cooper Flagg at Duke. The 6-foot-9 forward has been generating hype since high school, and now, all eyes are on how he handles ACC competition. Scouts praise his defensive instincts, playmaking ability, and maturity beyond his years. If he lives up to expectations, Flagg could very well be in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft 2026.

At North Carolina, freshman guard Ian Jackson is another player to keep tabs on. Known for his explosive scoring and athleticism, Jackson adds firepower to the Tar Heels’ backcourt. If his perimeter shot develops, he could be one of the most dangerous guards in college basketball.

Don’t overlook Jared McCain at Duke either. After a promising freshman campaign, McCain has polished his shooting and decision-making. He may not be as flashy as Flagg, but his reliability and high basketball IQ make him a serious first-round candidate.

Florida State and Virginia also have intriguing prospects. Florida State’s Cameron Boozer, if he reclassifies in time, would bring size and versatility to the floor. Virginia’s system may not produce gaudy numbers, but players like Isaac Traudt could rise up draft boards thanks to their efficiency and adaptability.

The NBA Draft 2026 ACC class promises excitement, talent, and star power. With multiple one-and-done players expected and others looking to make their mark through steady development, the ACC will once again dominate NBA conversations. For fans and scouts alike, this season offers a preview of the league’s next generation of stars.
