Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics have continued their winning ways following their 2023-24 NBA Finals run. On Monday, the Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 108-89 despite missing two starters and jumped to 17-4 on the season, good for second in the Eastern Conference behind the Cleveland Cavaliers. For his play in October and November, the NBA announced that Tatum has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for games played during that timeframe. He joins Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. “Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have been named the Kia NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in October/November.”
