This has all led to the Gators earning a spot in the national title game.
However, this will be their biggest test yet. Houston boasts the No. 1 ranked defense in the country and is also one of the most experienced teams in the nation, making this a matchup that could truly go either way. The betting line reflects that uncertainty. Florida is a slight one-point favorite over Houston, with 57% of bets placed on the Gators and 43% backing the Cougars.
