Notre Dame’s Adon Shuler Lands NIL Deal with Indiana-Based Eli Lilly and Company

Notre Dame defensive standout Adon Shuler has inked a major Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with Eli Lilly and Company, one of Indiana’s most prominent and respected corporations.

Eli Lilly, a global pharmaceutical giant headquartered in Indianapolis, sees Shuler as a rising figure in both athletics and personal character. The deal is part of the company’s new “Future Leaders” campaign, highlighting student-athletes who demonstrate leadership, academic excellence, and community impact.

“Adon embodies everything we value—discipline, perseverance, and heart,” said a spokesperson from Eli Lilly. “He’s not just a star on the field, he’s a leader off of it, and we’re proud to have him represent our brand.”

Shuler’s performance in the 2024 season turned heads nationally. With 59 tackles, three interceptions, and a game-changing fumble recovery in the Sugar Bowl, he became a central figure in Notre Dame’s championship push.

The partnership will involve Shuler in community outreach programs and health education initiatives across Indiana, particularly focusing on youth empowerment and access to mental health resources.

For Shuler, the deal is more than just a financial win. “I’m humbled to work with a company that’s making real change,” he said. “This gives me a platform to give back and inspire.”
