Pep Guardiola responds to Jurgen Klopp with ‘unfair’ complaint and highlights Liverpool change he ‘knew from day one’

Pep Guardiola and Jurgen KloppPep Guardiola has hit back at comments made by Jurgen Klopp – and insists his Manchester City side are scrutinised for their failure more than any other side in the Premier League.

Earlier this week, the Liverpool boss insisted it would be the “biggest joke in football history” to write off the Etihad outfit despite their winless run in the Premier League stretching to four games after defeat at Aston Villa.

Klopp knows City’s ability to come back better than anyone and the German has seen his side reach a point twice under Guardiola (2019 and 2022).
