Sutton’s prediction
Aston Villa have won their last 13 home games in the Premier League. But can they make it 14 wins in a row against champions Manchester City on Wednesday?
BBC Sport football pundit Chris Sutton said: “Villa look like another domestic offer but I think City will turn it down.”They were sloppy defensively against Tottenham on Sunday but still very dangerous in attack.”
Sutton expects to play all 380 Premier League games against various away teams again this season. In this week’s midweek fixture, he hosts CBeebies presenter Rhys Stevenson, who supports Arsenal.
You can see him on the big screen in Robin Hood, the new CBeebies Christmas panto, now in UK cinemas and starring your favorite CBeebies stars. CBeebies Robin HoodStevenson played Robin Hood in the CBeebies Christmas show.
The film was shot live on location at Cymru in Llandudno, North Wales, offering special extras and extra entertainment especially for the film audience.
Stevenson grew up supported by Arsenal, but it would have been different if he had followed in his father’s footsteps. He said this in an interview with BBC Sport: “I learned that from a young age.
My friends told me I support Arsenal and I’ve carried that with me all my life.” “My dad is actually a Chelsea fan but he never forced me to support anyone, so my friends came first.
One day I came home and told him I was now an Arsenal fan and I have been ever since. ” “I now live in Salford and am used to being asked who I support.
I learned to say “I’m red…” But the wrong kind of red… and I usually say, “Well, it’s okay if you’re not a fan of the city. “We’re doing well now but I think we showed why we shouldn’t be upset when everything went wrong against City at the end of last season.
“It’s good to be first, but I think most Arsenal fans have a very British attitude because they’re not satisfied with anything until the game is over.” It’s great that it’s been that way so far… “I can’t wait to see what happens,” he said.
CBeebies Robin HoodIn the Cbeebies show, Robin Hood and his merry band protect Sherwood Forest and its animal inhabitants from the Sheriff of Nottingham, who has a very evil plan to destroy the resource trees for his own gain.
Chris Sutton and Rhys Stephenson were speaking to BBC Sport’s Chris Bevan.
