Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos has revealed his hope that he and his teammates will cross paths with Liverpool again before the season is out.
Real of course locked horns with Arne Slot’s Reds on Wednesday night.
After making the trip to Anfield for a Champions League clash, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 2-0 result.
This brought to an end a lengthy stretch of dominance on the part of Los Blancos against Liverpool, dating all the way back to the 2008/09 campaign.
One member of Ancelotti’s ranks, though, who is already eyeing revenge, comes in the form of the aforementioned Dani Ceballos.
Speaking on the back of his side’s defeat on Merseyside yesterday evening, midfielder Ceballos explained:
“Real Madrid have not reached their best level yet. I hope we meet Liverpool in February or March and it will be a different match for sure.”
