REPORT: Liverpool Planning £85M Swoop For Virgil Van Dijk’s ‘Long Term Replacement’

“Liverpool FC is reportedly eyeing a move for Benfica defender Antonio Silva, valued at £85 million.

 

The Portuguese international is seen as a potential long-term replacement for club captain Virgil van Dijk, whose contract expires next year. However, Liverpool faces stiff competition from Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain, all of whom are also interested in Silva’s services.
