‘Serious enough’ – Jurgen Klopp confirms Liverpool star ruled out for four games

Liverpool injury update on Conor Bradley ahead of games against Atalanta, Fulham, Everton and West Ham.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Conor Bradley is set to be unavailable for the rest of Liverpool’s fixtures this month.

The right-back suffered an ankle injury in last Sunday’s 1-0 loss against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Bradley, 20, deputised magnificently while Trent Alexander-Arnold had a knee issue. In a breakthrough campaign, the Northern Ireland international has recorded one goal and six assists in 22 games.

But Bradley is set for a spell on the treatment table. Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Europa League quarter-final second leg against Atalanta, with the Reds trailing 3-0 on aggregate, manager Klopp said: “I think Ryan Gravenberch had a similar thing, so first week of May he [Bradley] should be back in training. When is that? Two weeks’ time.

“[He] overstretched the ligaments, not serious serious but serious enough that he’s not here.”
