The Reds Unveils Another New Addition as Transfer Staff Revamps

Liverpool FC is intent on appointing an experienced leader who will serve as the club’s guide during uncertain times and direct the team’s efforts towards victory. The sporting director, who will come from Bournemouth and work in the summer and then replace the departing Jorg Schmadtke, will work in cooperation with Mike Edwards, the CEO of FSG.

Nevertheless, it has to be a new manager appointed before Klopp leaves and the recruitment process has already been started with the view of strengthening the squad during the upcoming transfer window. Hughes plans to rope in his two colleagues from Bournemouth, including a reported move of the chief scout Mark Burchill this week. BBC Sport’s Ian Denis was reported to have also claimed that no official announcement has been made yet, though, in the meantime, Craig Mackee, who is currently in the position of the scouting coordinator for the South-coast club, is expected to be brought in by the Reds.
