‘Top player’ – Klopp says ‘outstanding’ liverpool talent will be real solution for club

 

Jurgen Klopp praised Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley after he started against Union Saint Gilioses on Thursday (December 14).

Liverpool had already qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League and the result of this match was irrelevant. This allowed Jurgen Klopp to change the squad and give opportunities to young players, including Bradley.

The 20-year-old played the whole match and Klopp praised the youngster as “his best player”. He said Bradley was “very good” and the right-back would be a real solution for the club.

It was not an easy game for him and Liverpool were simple in the first half. Klopp was right not to judge a player, especially a young talent, on one game as we have seen how good they are in training.

“It will happen, it will happen. “Conor is a top player and I like him a lot,” Klopp said when asked if Connor could be a real solution on the right flank.

“He has a great attitude and is a real fighter. The way things went in the first half, we fought, we fought, we lost the ball at the wrong time and it was very difficult. I’ve never judged a player after a game like that and said, “Well, he’s not good enough” or anything like that.

“I know how good they are because I see them in practice every day and tonight is an important experience. I don’t think any career starts without a game where you have to fight and fight and survive. Connor did in especially this one.”Keep goingManchester United lost 2-1 to Belgium last night.

The host took the lead through Mohamed Amura. Minutes later, young centre-back Jarell Quanza scored the Reds’ first goal with a powerful effort from inside the penalty area. However, for the hosts, Cameron Puertas scored what turned out to be the winning goal.

Liverpool won Group E with 12 points from six games and will not have to focus on Europe until March so they can focus well at home. The next three games are very important for the Reds.

They face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday, West Ham in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday and Arsenal in the league on December 23.
