Top UNC basketball recruiting target sets decision date

The North Carolina Tar Heels’ men’s basketball program is entering a big week. After going 1-1 this past week with a loss to Miami and then a win over Pitt, they will have two more games this week, including a road showdown with NC State on Tuesday. But before they hit the court, a key piece of the future will be making their decision in terms of his recruitment.

On Tuesday, five-star guard Dylan Mingo is set to make his decision as he will announce his commitment to a program. He will pick between North Carolina, Baylor, Penn State and Washington, doing so live with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Mingo was reportedly set to commit in January but pushed it back. While rumors surfaced he could commit to a program at any time, he’s now set his decision for Tuesday.
