MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men’s hockey graduate student forward Ryland Mosley has signed an amateur tryout (ATO) contract for this season and an AHL cotract for the 2025-26 season with the Cleveland Monsters, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, on Tuesday.
The Arnprior, Ontario, native finished second on the Badgers with 18 goals and 37 points and ranked third with 19 assists. A team alternate captain, the forward recorded seven multi-point games, including three four-point nights, which is good to tie for second most on the roster.
The forward proved to be an offensive powerhouse for Wisconsin, earning a nomination for the 2025 Hobey Baker fan vote and earning two Big Ten Star of the Week honors for his efforts this season.
Mosley finished his collegiate career with 54 goals and 116 points in 165 career games played. His 116 points currently rank 10th among active players, and he is one of 27 players nationally with at least 100 points. His 54 career goals rank seventh among active skaters.
Prior to transferring to Wisconsin for his graduate student season, the 2023 All-CCHA First Team member tallied 36 goals and 79 points over four years and 128 games played at Michigan Tech University, helping the Huskies to their first-ever CCHA tournament title in 2024.
Before skating for Michigan Tech, Mosley played for the Carleton Place Canadians of the CCHL, tallying 129 points (43g, 86a) in 127 career games for the Canadians.
With this contract, Mosley joins former Badger defenseman Corson Ceulemans and forwards Roman Ahcan and Joseph LaBate in Cleveland.
