Duke basketball continues to strengthen its NCAA tournament résumé as March approaches.
Ranked No. 4 in both the in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll and AP poll, the Blue Devils (19-1, 8-0 ACC) remain as a projected No. 1 seed in most bracketology forecasts as they remain unbeaten in ACC play and have racked up nine Quadrant 1 wins, tied for most in the nation.
Coming off an 83-52 rout over Louisville on Jan. 26, the Blue Devils look ahead to closing the week out at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Jan. 31.

The Blue Devils are currently No. 2 in the NET (NCAA Evaluation Tool) rankings. Duke is 9-1 in Quadrant 1 games, its lone loss coming to Texas Tech on Dec. 20, and is 10-0 against teams in Quadrants 2-4. The Blue Devils and Arizona are the only two teams with nine Quad 1 wins.

Here are the latest NCAA Tournament projections as of Tuesday, Jan. 27.
ESPN: Joe Lunardi has the Blue Devils listed as a No. 1 seed in the East Region, starting things off in Greenville against projected No. 16 seed UT Martin.
CBS Sports: CBS projections have Duke as a No. 1 seed in the South Region.
USA TODAY: USA Today projections have Duke as a No. 1 seed in the East Region, starting things off in Greenville against projected No. 16 seed Vermont/Maryland Eastern Shore.
On3: These projections have Duke as a No. 1 seed in the East Region against projected No. 16 seed Vermont/LIU.
EvanMiya: The Blue Devils rank No. 2 in resume quality, projected to be a No. 1-2 seed.
Torvik: According to Bart Torvik’s T-Ranketology Teamcast, Duke is projected to be a No. 1 seed.
Bracket Matrix: The Bracket Matrix formula considers the preeminent bracketology projections from across the web and averages them out to create a composite 68-team field.
