Why Luis Diaz was denied a penalty by VAR in Liverpool’s draw against Man Utd as decision explained

 

Liverpool are now level with Manchester United in second place in the Premier League with the win.

Luis Diaz shot at goal and then fired past United midfielder Sofian Amrabat. But Judge Michael Oliver dismissed the appeal. VAR has reportedly confirmed the incident.

However, Amrabat’s actions were deemed obstruction and the case was dismissed as normal communication was taking place.
