They should certainly feel pretty confident about their chances. Celtic are a team and a club growing from strength to strength and the feel good factor will only soar if they can claim another huge European result.
CRAIG SWAN : Celtic are going to have to get close to their heights of the Leipzig success to beat the Belgians, but they are scoring for fun and can do it.
MICHAEL GANNON: This is a far tougher test than some Celtic fans might think. The Belgians are a strong outfit but if the Hoops hit the levels shown against Leipzig they can bag another three points.
Can Philippe Clement get Rangers a positive result in Nice?
have saved their best performances this season for Europe but Nice will be a significant step up from Steaua Bucharest and Olympiacos. Lyon showed their class at Ibrox and given Nice are only a couple of points behind them in Ligue 1, you have to suspect it could be another tough night for Clement’s team.
CRAIG : The signs and vibes are not good. Rangers lack real cohesion and their play is disjointed. Individual moments could get them through, but it’s a big ask on current form.
MICHAEL: Rangers look more likely to get results in Europe than at home right now, but they are up against it this week. A positive performance might be a decent outcome in the correct circumstances.
ROSS: Europe seems to offer some respite for Clement from his Premiership woes. They’ll have to be miles better than they were against Dundee Utd, but even then Nice are Lyon level, and we all saw how that went.
